How do I publish music on my profile?
Getting your music out to the world. Growing your fanbase. Building an audience. It all starts with publishing the music on your profile. To publish, open the track in the Studio and then under the "File" menu click "Publish Track". The system will begin processing your track, and a pop-up will prompt you to "Edit Track info". Once you click "Edit Track Info", you'll be led to a track page where you can add a description, picture and genre category. You'll also be able to choose if you want
Can I upload my tracks on YouTube or games for commercial use?
Of course, who doesn't want their music to go viral? Since all of our samples and loops can be used royalty free in music productions, any tracks produced in the studio can then be used for commercial purposes in and on games, YouTube, streaming services, physical CD, etc. The only restriction is that our individual samples can’t be shared, sold, or used as in-game sound effects. Can I copyright and sell my songs commercially?
If you create it, you should own it! Anything you create in Soundation is your production. You can sell your creation without asking Soundation for permission or sharing royalties. However, please note that loops and samples are licensed to be used in your production only, meaning that you can't transfer, upload, share, give, or sell any of the isolated or individual sound files from the studio. Can I publish my track on blogs or social networking websites?
Absolutely. Shares or it didn't happen! After publishing the tracks on your Soundation profile, you can share them on your social networks by clicking the share button on the top left corner of a player under "Tracks."
How do I embed my tracks on a blog?
Listen up, music bloggers! To get an embed code for your track, click the "share" button on the top right corner of the player. On a new window, you'll be able to see an embed code, which you can copy and paste into the HTML editor section of your site’s editor. A player will then form on your blog or website. The number of plays you get from your blog or website will be included in the number of plays shown under the track on your Soundation profile!
